Job Description
A longstanding and established homeless charity in England are recruiting for a Support Worker to start ASAP on a temporary contract, providing cover whilst the charity recruits. You will be working for a longstanding charity that has provided accommodation and support services for veterans and those at risk of homelessness. The charity specialises in offering services for people with multiple, complex support needs; people who, because of their high needs, are often excluded from other services and have difficulty in accessing and retaining accommodation. You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team who provide support in temporary accommodation service for people waiting for housing support from the local housing department. As a Support Worker, you will be required to support individuals through their time in the project, managing a caseload, creating resettlement plans and signposting to further services, with the aim to successfully source a longer-term housing solution.
