B5 Occupational Therapist (Louth Hospital) Base: Archer Ward and Archer Unit, Louth County Hospital Are you passionate about providing high quality rehabilitation? We are excited to be offering the opportunity for Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the team on our newly refurbished and renamed Archer Ward and Archer Unit; so if you want to be part of a trailblazing team offering specialist rehabilitation and frailty services in the community, then look no further, apply now! Using 'Home First' principles, the Community Hospitals Therapy Team strive to provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation, re-ablement, admission avoidance and palliative care services to the people of Lincolnshire. We work closely with our Integrated Community and Therapy Teams to get people back home in a timely manner, as well as with our colleagues in the acute sector to provide a swift and seamless transfer of care. You will be working with a full multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses and Assistants (AHP/nursing), to provide high quality rehabilitation to people with a wide and varied range of conditions. The wards are under supervision of GP care, and you will have support from senior therapists, as well as both nursing and AHP clinical leads. For this post, you will require an Occupational Therapy Degree, current HCPC registration and experience of working in a community hospital setting is desirable. We have a robust clinical supervision and support network, sharing knowledge and skills across the community hospitals and community therapy services. Together with the Clinical Practice Educators, LCHS is dedicated to supporting learning and development of staff, including the preceptorship programme for newly qualified practitioners and return to practice candidates, as well as giving the opportunity for career progression.
