LRL are currently recruiting for LGV/HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers to work on a permanent basis for one of the UK's leading Food Production Companies. Duties to included multi drop deliveries to Farms Nationwide. (Driving on B Roads, C Roads, etc) Salary / Benefits * Circa £26,000 for a 44 hour week (including breaks and POA) *£11.37 per hour over 44 in the rotad days *If the driver works an extra day they will be paid £13.64 an hour (Monday to Saturday) or £17.06 an hour for Sundays *If a driver works a Bank Holiday as an extra day they will be paid £17.06 and hour and receive a day in lieu. If they work a Bank holiday as part of their rota they will receive a day in lieu and be paid £5.69 an hour extra. *5 weeks holiday a year (20 days as they work a 4 day week) *Private health care after 1 years service *CPC paid for *Workwear and PPE provided - Start Times will differ, usually it is 5am to 6am however on occasions drivers are asked to start at 4am if they are going to Kent. - We plan on day work however we do sometimes ask drivers to night out (ask not tell). - Cover up to Statford upon avon, over to mid Wales, over to Kent, up to Oxford, down South coast and all in between. It could be 1 load distance, 2 loads around 6 hours each or 3 local loads all depends on which customers order for when. The Rota is a 3 week rolling rota Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday We are looking for both Class 1 or Class 2. However if you are class 2 then you would have to acquire the class 1 through the company licence acquisition scheme after 6 months service. The scheme is the company pay for your class 1 (approx. £1k), then you pay them back monthly for 2 years and after the 3rd year of employment you will receive the whole lot back as a loyalty bonus. There is no preference whether they are new to driving LGV's or experienced. The interview structure is a Q & A session with the Transport Manager and the Driving Trainer, then followed by a driving assessment (approx. 30 mins).
