An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Clinical Charge Nurses to join the Lambeth PICU team at the Lambeth Hospital. We are keen to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated nurses who can embrace the challenge and enjoy the rewards of working as part of the clinical team. Eden Ward is a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for men located at the Lambeth Hospital. It is a 10 male bedded ward. The suitable candidate will be motivated and forward thinking. An experienced RMN who is enthusiastic about working with people with complex mental illness and who is able to demonstrate a real commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will have excellent communication skills and team working abilities. A key role of the Clinical Charge Nurse is to lead by example and be a role model for the nursing team. We are looking for an individual who is able to support junior staff and students in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership and sharing of knowledge. The Clinical Charge Nurse will work closely with the Ward Manager, Matron and Clinical Service Lead (CSL) and the rest of multidisciplinary team (MDT) to promote effective leadership and support for patients, carers and all members of the team. There is excellent career progression, development and support for the right candidate. About the location: Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.
