Overview In this role, you will support the quantitative and qualitative assessment of credit, collateral and credit-related contract risk of SEL, monitor and support the control of such risk. In this role, you will be involved with the following: * Assisting the Credit Risk Manager and the Lead Credit Risk Analyst in the accurate and timely assessment of retail credit limit applications from the Sales Team; * Ensuring all of the credit checks for retail received from Sales Team are processed in a timely manner and managed proactively; * Accurate credit scoring and rating for retail customers in line with the written Credit Policy and its Procedures in place; * Ensuring that all limits for Retail customers are correctly applied for; * Establishing and maintaining strong credit relationships with counterparts * Ensuring that renewals of existing limits are processed in timely manner; * Providing volume and delivery period approval for price commitment for the retail sales. Ensuring they are not exceeded; * Building relations with the Retail Sales team and other stakeholders; * Building the business relationship with credit reference agencies, market Intelligence suppliers, the credit insurance broker and the credit insurer. To be successful, you are likely to have the following skills/experience: * Strong independent problem solving skills; * Very strong attention to detail, accuracy and completeness; * Strong communication skills with confidence to challenge judgements.
