Position Overview: Reporting into the UK/Benelux Senior leader for market access, the National Account Manager for the UK is responsible for the in-country execution of the market access plan for current and new products. Efforts of this person should focus on ensuring that HCP's and end-users have unimpeded access to our products by educating payers and influencing policy decisions through the use of localised value propositions and multi-stakeholder development plan. This is an infield role supporting the regional sales managers and their teams overcome national and local hurdles to unimpeded access for Insulet's products. Much of the time spent by this person is customer-facing across different stakeholder groups relevant to building a positive environment. You must have an in-depth and constantly up to date understanding of the payer environment both current and possible state, the evolving healthcare landscape and have the ability to develop detailed strategic plans that align with the short and long term goals of the organisation. Responsibilities: * Ability to develop contacts and relationships across the payer and advocacy landscapes. * Helps develop the regional strategy for Market Access by providing current and insightful market intelligence * Executes the UK MA plan reporting regularly on important milestones * Skillfully deals with the concepts and complexities associated with the Market Access landscape. * Invests the time necessary to maintain an in-depth understanding of Market Access as it relates to current and future products, feeding insights into the regional team. * Develops and maintains exceptional therapy area knowledge both clinically and within the diabetes community. * Provides in-account support to the sales managers and their teams developing and executing bespoke value propositions * Take a leadership role in Insulet's major UK accounts to drive improved account management * Develops and delivers a multi-stakeholder engagement plan for delivery at UK level including stakeholders that have a national influence on reimbursement and policy such as KOL's from a broad spec of speciality such as procurement, pharmacy, clinical, pt. advocacy etc. that is aligned with the regional objectives and collaborative with marketing and sales. * Strives for excellence in all aspects of his/her performance and is committed to continuous self-evaluation and development. * Provides information critical to accomplishing the Insulet mission to all colleagues the market Access team works with including the marketing and sales leadership team. * Develop tools for local engagement in the payer landscape. * Deliver strategic insight to the Regional leadership to aid good decision making with the best use of data and insights. * Establish relationships with or reliable access to, key payer stakeholders and related influence groups that impact access to our assay for healthcare providers and patients. * Performs other duties as required. Qualification, Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/ or medical device space (preferably with diabetes products) * Proven business experience working within Market access across the payer and payer influencer stakeholder group * Proven reimbursement success for new products and line extensions * Experience working within and developing different distribution channels advantageous Skills/Competencies: * Ability to influence without authority across functional areas * Ability to prioritise and drive for results with an emphasis on quality. * Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organisation. * Ability to provide and analyse performance-driven data. * Able to take large amounts of complex information and establish what is important. * Ability to generate and maintain accurate records. * Strong computer proficiency and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
