Please visit our web site for more information. www.reeloneent.com Position Overview We are looking for a Development Coordinator to join our UK team as part of the International Distribution department. The Development Coordinator will report to and support the Development Executive. The successful candidate could be based in London or anywhere in the UK with regular travel to the London office required. Main Responsibilities * Assisting the Executive with reading and assessing story concepts with the intention of greenlighting to development * Assisting the Executive with script reading and providing detailed notes to ensure each project adheres to our guidelines with the intention of greenlighting to production * Tracking our development slate and keeping a detailed record of each project * Reviewing and approving all marketing materials such as trailers and posters, making sure they are on-brand, in line with our requirements and are true to the project * Reviewing and approving movie posters * Developing relationships with new writers and agents * Reviewing writer deals, ensuring they are in line with our usual agreements * Reviewing and approving casting choices * Being the main point of contact for Creative Producers on set * Conducting thorough market research, watching and reviewing comparable content * Various administrative tasks such updating main spreadsheet Qualifications and desired skills * Bachelor's degree, preferably Film and Media related * A keen interest in Film and entertainment * Script reading experience and the ability to demonstrate sound editorial judgement, communicating opinions in a tactful and effective way, both verbally and written * Experience of providing support in a comparable environment is an advantage * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels * Demonstrable ability to juggle a wide variety and large number of different responsibilities and projects, while still maintaining a high standard of performance and an attention to detail. * Demonstrable research, organisational and presentation skills. Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Final Draft an advantage * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team * Ability to manage multiple projects at one time * A demonstrable experience of working to deadlines Apply for this Job
