Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an International Tax Manager to support the Group Head of Tax & Treasury. Responsibilities will include advising on the international tax aspects of acquisitions and restructurings, implementing tax efficient initiatives, managing tax audits, and responsibility for group transfer pricing requirements. INTERNATIONAL TAX MANAGER Location: Central London Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an International Tax Manager to support the Group Head of Tax & Treasury. Responsibilities will include advising on the international tax aspects of acquisitions and restructurings, implementing tax efficient initiatives, managing tax audits, and responsibility for group transfer pricing requirements. As a member of the Central Support Finance team in our London headquarters location, we are looking for someone to provide guidance across our growing family of 66 schools in respect of international tax and transfer pricing matters. The appointed International Tax Manager will also provide advice and support on the international tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals or group reorganisations, support global tax planning initiatives and projects which relate to the Group's overall strategy, and advise on tax efficient funding and cash repatriation strategies for the regions. The Role We seek a talented, qualified and internationally experienced tax professional with an affinity for education to accelerate the great work achieved to date and lead/support in the following key areas, but not limited to: * Provide guidance to Schools / Regions in respect of international tax and transfer pricing matters * Working with tax advisors across the world to provide optimum tax solutions for the business * Respond to ad-hoc tax and transfer pricing queries from Schools / Regions * Manage tax audits * Ownership of Country by Country transfer pricing reporting process * Provide advice and support on the international tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals or group reorganisations * Provide support for global tax planning initiatives and projects which relate to the Group's overall strategy * Advise on tax efficient funding and cash repatriation strategies for the regions * Monitor international legislative developments that may impact the Group, and ensure appropriate notifications are made and actions taken in a timely manner * Assist in building and maintaining contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation for the Group * Manage Master File and Local File process across the Group, including benchmarking analysis. * Manage the Group recharge structure and support with the recharge model and process * Assist in documenting and communicating any transfer pricing or tax implications of transactions and tax positions taken for tax reporting and compliance purposes * Assist and coordinate tax and transfer pricing audit defence * Lead in any negotiation of tax rulings The Successful Candidate * Chartered Accountant with suitable tax training, with time spent in industry in an international organisation essential * Degree holder * Big 4 trained with solid PQE experience * Experience of dealing with international tax matters, including tax structuring and M&A and tax controversy management * Experience of developing, managing, monitoring and improving global tax strategies, policies and documentation * Transfer pricing experience * Successful track record in high growth environment * Good cross-cultural, interpersonal & communication skills * Excellent analytical skills - with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success We are looking to recruit someone with a strong desire to work for a fast-growing organisation and with an affinity and interest in education.
