As a Sales Director at SimilarWeb you will be responsible for building, managing and growing a world-class enterprise sales team. The team works with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and are able to effectively communicate the value proposition of SimilarWeb's software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. In the Sales Director role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching and managing a team of Enterprise Sales Managers in order to achieve their targets. As the Sales Director you will ensure the sales team has all the ongoing sales, product, operational training and resources needed to do their jobs effectively. You will also manage a team of Sales Development Representatives who are a lead generation team, strategically outreaching to potential new prospects, setting meetings and handing over to sales managers Responsibilities: * Build and manage a high performing enterprise sales team * Achieve growth sales targets, expand client-base and optimise operational KPIs * Recruit and on-board the sales team in collaboration with other departments in the company * Provide the sales team with ongoing sales enrichment, product and industry training * Conduct regular pipeline reviews to provide accurate forecasting visibility whilst identifying areas for improvement * Ensure all work processes and flows are followed as established by the Executive Team * Participate in strategic planning and contribute significantly to the team strategy * Maintain a positive work environment - drive a high pace high success environment * Create the link between SDR output and the Sales Manager pipeline verticalisation What will I bring to the team? * Proven successful SaaS sales management experience * Strong sales background with a proven track record of consistently achieving targets * Solid managerial and leadership skills * Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business * Experience building value based sales strategy and processes and executing on the plan * Track record of building, training and reporting for sales teams * Metrics driven sales management experience What makes the SimilarWeb Enterprise Sales team awesome? * We love market intelligence!
