Full-Stack Software Engineer (flexible/remote working)
Overview
Job Description
Full-Stack Software Engineer | Central Bristol (flexible/remote working) * Stack comprising of: PHP (Symfony), Python, Typescript * Build of custom software used by large FS companies globally * Healthy pipeline of long term projects (their business strategy is focused around slow burn big ticket projects rather than churn) * Machine Learning plays a big part in what they do * Very talented team - PHDs, Masters degrees from some of the world's top universities * Non-stuffy, friendly and flexible culture One of SR2s longstanding clients, a Central Bristol based software company who build predictive analysis solutions, are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their team as they tackle a busy project pipeline which will span several years. As eluded to above, the projects they work on are complex, high value and large-scale. Naturally there is a real focus on quality and building tailored solutions so no churn! They also have global reach with their client base made predominantly of financial services companies mainly in the UK and US. They have a very capable team although are looking to scale up with the introduction of several software engineers of different guises. This particular opening is for a mid-level Software Engineer with skills across the Full-Stack. They use a stack comprising of PHP (Symfony), Python and Typescript although will consider engineers/developers skilled in: * PHP - Open to framework with a strong preference for Laravel or Symfony * JavaScript - Angular or Typescript preferred but open to framework * Any experience with AWS, Docker etc would be great although isn't a prerequisite So essentially if you are a Full-Stack Software Engineer / Developer with skills in PHP & JavaScript who wants to work on large-scale, interesting projects using PHP (Symfony), Python and Typescript, it's worth applying for this position. Whilst a Mid-Level will probably compliment the team best, if you're a junior with a year or so's experience it's worth a conversation as they are open-minded. Package & Benefits: * Salary ranges from £30-50,000 * Sizable bonus scheme * 25 days holiday * 6% pension * Life insurance * Income protection * Flexible working (remote working is fine a few days PW) Benefits aside this is a chance to join a talented, friendly and ambitious team for an organisation who value and trust their people.
