Job Description

The role The Credit Controller role works with the wider Finance team to ensure that the end to end premium and revenue reconciliation and all allocation processes are completed accurately and in a timely fashion. There will be interaction with colleagues in Operations and each of the Innovisk underwriting businesses. This will involve working on the portfolio of a number of Innovisk Businesses and assisting with Innovisk developing systems and controls concerning account and settlement activities. The ideal person, is someone who can drive efficiencies and grow with Innovisk so has the drive and capability to develop into bigger and broader roles. * Creating Broking Statements * Reconciling all cash payments received against entries on the ledgers for a number of Innovisk Businesses * Working with the Innovisk Businesses to resolve all reconciliation differences, unmatched cash items. * Liaising with counter parts in Brokers to resolve queries * Supporting the Innovisk Businesses in resolving all matters arising from the reconciliation and posting of the Bordereaux * Developing a control framework that ensures robust, consistent and auditable process which is implemented and maintained * Developing reporting structure that allows Innovisk to understand where the money is and that is flowing correctly * Escalating issues arising from the Innovisk Businesess, Brokers or within Innovisk to appropriate resource * Continually identify opportunities for process improvements in the processes The Requirements * Experience of cash management and reconciliation * Evidence of having a focus on detail and in resolving reconciliation differences in a timely way * Previous Insurance experience including dealing with underwriting binders is an advantage * Able to build relationship with senior staff * Self-starter * Good knowledge and practical experience of MS Office Products, especially excellent Excel capability EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
