Summary: The ideal candidate will be a senior social scientist or a user researcher experienced in working in technology and healthcare, focusing on product research, privacy, digital divide and strategic, roadmap building. A proven track record of translating insights to actual product changes that inspire senior stakeholders is a must. You should have hands-on experience in conducting mixed methods research individually as well as partnering with agencies. Required Skills: 1. Work cross-functionally with design, product management, policy, comms, content strategy, engineering and marketing teams to build truly impactful products 2. Design hypotheses and lead studies that examine both user behavior and attitude as well as larger market directions 3. Generate actionable insights that fuel ideation and evaluation of our product directions 4. Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys, analysing census data and publicly available data sets 5. Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways 6. Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions Minimum Qualifications: 7. MS/PhD, human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Health, Social Science, Information Science, etc.) 8. 5+ years experience in applied product research 9. Command of a broad set of qualitative, quantitative and user-centered design methods 10. Basic understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts 11. Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions Preferred Qualifications: 12.
