JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Partner Enablement Department: Science Group, Alliances and Channels Reports To: Alliances and Channels, Science Group Division: Science Group Main Purpose of Job: The Alliances and Channels global team partners with a range of external organisations to open and drive business channels in Clarivates fast growing science business. Together we support our customers, helping them move from new ideas to life changing innovations more quickly. This Partner Enablement role is a critical part of our successful business, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all opportunities in our business systems and assisting our partners and alliance team in driving growth for our business. You will be a key support in achievement of revenue targets in the Alliances and Channels team. The Alliances and Channels strategy is a key pillar of growth for the Clarivate business and you should expect the role and responsibilities to evolve over time. Reportees: None. Duties : To support the achievement of the Science Group Alliances and Channels incremental revenue growth goals by enabling our business partners. To oversee the opportunity and transaction process for our partners, from tracking leads, through to invoicing and reporting. Take a proactive approach throughout the process, working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to facilitate a highly efficient workflow. Work with the Alliances and Channels team to drive continuous improvement, identifying and implementing actions which drive greater efficiencies and revenue for the business. Respond to certain types of questions from the Global Sales team relating to business generated through partners within specified customer accounts. Maintain updated reporting in Salesforce and other administrative reporting systems, creating business performance and activity summaries as required. Track key relationship metrics including user activity, approvals, marketing and training activities supporting Clarivate ability to meet its obligations to partners and end customers. To be a critical liaison with internal departments such as sales operations, contracting, pricing, etc to ensure that multiple departments maintain low friction processes and activity in line with the strategic business growth activities. Keep up to date with existing and new internal SFDC processes regarding any Retention and Sales process related issues. To attend and participate in all business growth related meetings & calls and to deputise for team members / your line manager - as and when required. Assisting in cross-training as the team continues to grow To take responsibility for identifying training and developmental needs for yourself on an on-going basis. To make positive efforts to promote personal safety and that of others by taking reasonable care at work, by carrying out the requirements of the law or following recognised codes of practice provided or advised by management to ensure safe working practices. To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director on a permanent or temporary basis. Skills/Experience: * Advanced knowledge and proven experience of SFDC or any other similar CRM system * Previous knowledge of working through the Sales Cycle in a similar organisation * A good team player / self-starter with the ability to work using own initiative. * Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills. * A customer driven approach and good partner communication style * Experience of working under pressure and with minimum supervision. * Effective time management skills. * Knowledge of Excel and understanding of manipulating spreadsheets. * Well organised and disciplined with regards policy, procedure and standards. * Can set priorities and be flexible in changing environment. * Ability to report and project accurately and according to agreed timeframes.
