Job Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent to join the a leading construction and development company. You will work alongside the construction team and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered following all safety and quality guidelines. A key requirement for a role is to have Formwork & Reinforced Concrete experience (FRC). Benefits Include: * Generous Annual Salary * Car/Car Allowance * Green Travel Allowance * 28 days Annual Leave * Private Healthcare Package Roles and Responsibilities: * Prepare for the delivery of the Formwork & Reinforced Concrete (FRC) works, manage resources and provide supervision, advice and guidance to the members of the Construction team and Sub-Contractors. This will include mentoring Site Engineers & Section engineers. * Develop the construction methodology & programme. Prepare for the delivery of the works, including resources, procurement, consents, and pre start documentation. * Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site engineering team to enable them to develop their profession and optimise their work contribution. * Using the design information to develop a plan for the construction methodology, programme, materials & equipment for their area of work as assigned by the Site Agent. * Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies. Skills and Requirements: * Substantial experience in self-performed/delivered Formwork & Reinforced Concrete (FRC) works, either for a Main Contractor or for a specialist FRC subcontractor. * Experience working on NEC3 contracts and a basic understanding of the core clauses within the conditions of contract. * Knowledge of FRC construction techniques and best practice, including erection of proprietary formwork systems. * Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Control Systems, Auto CAD, MS Project) * Relevant CSCS Card and SMSTS training.
