Job Description
TrueLayer's Marketing team plays a critical role in defining and driving forward our go-to-market, as well as delivering creative content to engage audiences and build our brand across all channels. We're a collaborative team that is focused on helping Truelayer grow to become the world's leading open banking platform. We're looking for a Graphic Designer who's passionate about brand and marketing design, and is able to provide solutions for multiple types of mediums and target audiences. You will work at the heart of a cross-functional team spanning brand, product, performance marketing, outbound sales and inbound campaigns, to design scalable solutions that are functional to use and beautiful to see. In return, TrueLayer's Graphic Designer will have the opportunity to gain familiarity with the latest tools, processes and technologies, as well using a brand new, cutting-edge design system we've built in-house. In light of our upcoming European expansion, the challenges will be varied, but their impact will be pivotal. Our long term vision is to power the next era of financial innovation, and our short term mission is to grow the Open Banking economy. Andwe're just getting started. As one of our Graphic Designer s , you will: * Create marketing collateral for events, conferences and maintain stock; * Create merchandising for internal and external use and maintain stock; * Deliver excellent, polished, informative and visually beautiful presentations; * Create images/illustrations for the above items, social channels, and newsletter; * Follow our design system style guides and contribute to their documentation and evolution; * Bring new insights to the team and propose innovative, fresh visual ideas. Requirements What we need from you: * Have a portfolio that shows adaptability over multiple mediums (print and digital); * Are demonstrably able to solve problems of complexity through smart design; * Mastery of layouts and typography; * Are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Sketch; * Favour and advocate usage of vector images over rasters; * Stay current on design trends related to the fintech industry; * Are proactive and self-starting: actively thinking of ways to enhance processes and ability to prioritise demands in a fast-paced environment; * Have strong attention to detail and an ability to work within established deadlines; * Are data-driven and be able to back up assertions with data; * Are keen to learn new skills and constantly step out of your comfort zone. Nice to haves: * Experience with isometric illustrations; * Previous experience in a tech company, preferably a financial one; * Previous experience with Design Systems / Brand guidelines; * Have a good understanding of UX/UI and principles of interaction design; * Familiarity with Github and Jira; * Data Visualisation Enthusiast.
