Job Description

Q. Who are we looking for? A. Someone with the ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and possesses good organisational and time keeping skills. Strong communication is also a key requirement. Q. What will you be doing on a daily basis? A. Ensuring that all customer requests are planned for in advance to ensure and efficient flow of work is carried out in a timely manner. This requires continuous communication between the workshop and Front of House team to deliver a high level of service to our customers Q. What experience do you need? A. Experience working within in a main-dealer workshop with a good understanding of the technical requirements needed to manage a team of technicians to deliver high standards of workmanship. A good working knowledge of DVSA regulations and manufacturer's warranty procedures. Q. What training will you receive? A. JCT600 deliver courses designed to develop the skills required to become a strong workshop controller/manager as well as manufacturer courses which are both on-line and within their dedicated training facilities Q. What qualifications do you need? A. It is essential that you have a valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties and although not essential an NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous.
