THE ROLE We are looking for our first Finance Manager, for someone to build out our finance capability and to provide financial advisory on strategic company decisions as we progress on our international expansion and for Series B. As Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to model and forecast business scenarios, build and track performance metrics, price and evaluate new opportunities, and manage our accounting responsibilities and budgets. Analytical and hands-on, you are a problem-solver at heart and always on the look-out for business opportunities and process improvements. An avid team player, you work to make others around you better as you position yourself to support the strategic and financial planning processes of our global teams. Responsibilities: * Define and track critical success metrics; identify key opportunities and challenges and collaborate with the business to address them * Develop and manage our accounting and reporting processes, and oversee our responsibilities with month-end and quarter-end closes * Drive the development and management of our financial modelling and forecasting; manage and track the budgets and performance of assigned P&L accounts * Model out business scenarios for initiatives and opportunities, including these for financial planning * Run regular in-depth analysis on our financials to gain key insights and to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our records * Find and drive process improvement opportunities across each of our global teams and process areas * Work closely with the leadership team on strategy, roadmap and targets for the business, and advise on hiring, market opportunities and prioritisation decisions * Liaise with our investors, vendors and business partners on investment round collateral, key financial deliverables and other ad hoc requests Requirements You should apply if: * You have at least 2+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial or corporate finance roles * You have experience of working in a fast-growth environment * You have experience from a company with best-in-class reporting practices * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills * You have a proven ability to build and manage financial models * You think analytically; you thrive working with data and extracting insights to make strong business cases * You love Excel and financial modelling, and have experience from financial and strategic planning * You are proactive and hands-on, and relish taking on new challenges Plus: * If you have previous experience of working in the technology or construction * ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified Benefits * Competitive package * Private health insurance * 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays * Friendly, open and transparent culture * Choose your work equipment / devices: your local office will provide you with options to choose from to help you set up the systems and work environment that will keep you happy and productive * Flexible working hours / ability to work from home * Central London location (Tottenham Court Road) * Unlimited coffee, tea (and nearly unlimited cinnamon loaf from Ole and Steen!) * Regular socials, and team retreats to amazing destinations (Tbilisi, Kiev...
