The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Statistics and Analytics Lead, Global Market Access and Pricing (GMAP), will be responsible for providing analytical support as well as methodological advice to facilitate strategic access decisions & HTA submissions globally. Key responsibilitiesinclude: + Develop product-related Market Accessstatistical analysis plans to preempt HTA challenges and address needs foradditional evidence generation in alignment with internal cross-functionalteams to support HTA submissions, HTA re-assessments, and questions from HTAbodies in partnership with Data and Statistical Sciences (DSS). + Provide quantitative insights to inform HTA andpricing strategies from early on in asset development working with HTAstrategic partners. + Contribute to the development of HTAdeliverables by providing expert input on methodological requirements acrossHTA agencies to ensure high quality deliverables for HTA submissions. + Contribute to developing AbbVie standards invarious initiatives for the planning and optimization of HTA submissions, aswell as in the provision of early strategic input into asset development. + Build and maintain strong relationships withinternal stakeholders, including Global Market Access and Pricing (GMAP),affiliate and Area Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research(HEOR), and DSS Qualifications, Knowledgeand Experience MSc or MPhil (required) or PhD (preferred) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or any other related quantitative field. Required skills and experience: + Expert knowledge of statistical methodologies, includingnetwork meta-analysis and time to event methodologies. + Good understanding of data management and clinicalconcepts applied to drug development within the pharmaceutical industry + Working knowledge of statistical and data processingsoftware e.g. R and/or SAS + Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrixenvironment with multiple stakeholders Desirable skills and experience: + Experience interacting with HTA agencies andunderstanding HTA requirements + Previous hand-on experience in economicmodelling, contributing to HTA submissions, or design and analysis of clinicaltrials + Understanding of health economic and outcomesresearch including patient-reported outcomes, economic modelling, and budgetimpact analysis Additional Information + Travel: Yes, 15 % of the Time + Job Type: Experienced + Schedule: Full-time + Job Level Code: M
