About you: We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling, Health or CBT Therapist for this post. This is an opportunity to work in an established integrated Older Adult Community Mental Health Team with referrals for therapy from the community mental health team and the home treatment team and for neuropsychological assessment and therapy from the memory clinic. There are opportunities for delivering therapy in groups with experienced colleagues, and having a role in a number of innovative projects with community nursing, care homes and carers. Working within a friendly and experienced team, you would have the opportunity to contribute to staff wellbeing projects, including taking the lead on staff mindfulness sessions and team formulation. The development of supervision, project and leadership skills is also encouraged. We provide a specialist psychology service to older people seen by the Older People's multidisciplinary team in Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead CMHTE. We also carry out neuropsychological assessments within the memory clinic and home based therapy services to older people and also provide specialist services to those with people who have a dementia. We are willing to interview a trainee due to complete training in September and less hours are available at Band 6 if a candidate wanted to work elements of the job rather than the full hours. You may also be required to travel between Trust premises as required for the performance of your duties. What's next?
