About you: We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time registered professional to be part of a forward thinking and positive multi-disciplinary team supporting people experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) or assessed as having an At Risk Mental State (ARMS). We are looking for an RMN, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to work with us and support the provision of the highest quality care for our service users, in line with the NICE Quality Standards and NHS England Access to Waiting Time Standards. You will need to have a real commitment to and understanding of the principles of early intervention and this client group. The post is based in Nicholson House Maidenhead, which operates a 9am -5pm service although some flexibility is required in order to engage with our service users. The main responsibilities of the posts are: * To act as care coordinator to clients referred to the service, in accordance with Care Programme Approach (CPA) policy under the supervision of the Clinical Lead. To undertake comprehensive assessment of health and social needs together with the service users and implement a plan of care and provision of NICE recommended interventions for people experiencing their first episode of psychosis or those assessed as having 'At Risk Mental States'. * To provide carer assessments to ensure carers and family are included and supported in care planning. To participate in carer focused education and family intervention approaches. * To monitor and assess the physical health of service users with mental illness in line with Trust policy and national guidelines. * To facilitate and implement the Trust and Local Authority requirements in relation to safeguarding children and guidance legislation within the Care Act 2014.
