Blade Recruitment is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to work at a large site near Wigan, Lancashire WN1. The Maintenance Manager will be working for a leading UK waste management company on a 6 month contract which could lead to a permanent job . Working hours for the Maintenance Manager job is 37.5hrs pw, M-F and paying up to £40k. JOB DUTIES The Maintenance Manager job will involve the following The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for assisting the maintenance team in the delivery of planned maintenance and reactive maintenance . The Maintenance Manager will prioritise and plan all maintenance work. The Maintenance Manager will carry out planned maintenance inspections The Maintenance Manager will ensure that modifications to equipment are in line with PUWER machinery safety regulations. The Maintenance Manager will maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations and instructions. JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal Maintenance Manager will hold electrical or mechanical trade qualifications and will preferably have previous job experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Manager will be someone with working knowledge of health and safety regulations and complex processing plant.
