Overview
Job Title: Finance Officer Contract Length: 6 weeks ongoing Rates/Salary: £17-£19.50/h Location: London A position has arisen within a Housing organisation for a Finance Officer. This is a key role to support and strengthen the finance function and an exciting opportunity to further your career. Your duties will include: Processing all invoices and payment requests for payment including cheques/standing orders/direct debits Providing remittance advices after each payment run and responding to queries relating to payments and invoices Reconciling supplier statements Assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts by preparing and posting necessary journals Assisting with annual statutory and internal audits The successful candidate will have: Housing Experience (Essential) Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload Good communication skills This would be an ideal role for an accurate and hands on candidate who is ready to hit the ground running and add value to a team.
