Locum Housing Lawyer - Local Authority in Greater London Chadwick Nott has recently been instructed on a new requirement by a busy and well-respected London Borough Council Legal Department. They require a Housing Lawyer to join them on a locum basis for an initial period of three months to support while they recruit on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive with in depth experience of working within councils on Housing Litigation work. You must be able to handle a wide variety of Housing Litigation matters, to include: Possession Judicial review Homelessness ASB Disrepair Fraud - subletting and other activity Experience of handling littering/cigarette prosecutions is particularly desirable. In return, the council can offer an hourly rate of up to £32 per hour via an umbrella company and the potential for flexible working.
