Day Opportunities Manager – Learning Disabilities Location: Holloway, North London Salary: £30,000 Hours: 35 hours per week Adept Recruitment is one of the UK's leading providers of permanent recruitment solutions to the Health and Social Care sectors and we offer bespoke consultancy services to clients and candidates alike. The Company Our client provides support to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism and/or challenging behaviours across North London. They have 3 main areas of service delivery; Supported Housing and Independent Living, Supporting Families, and Learning and Leisure. These services deliver practical and emotional support to children and adults with a learning disability and their families. The Role The post holder will assist in ensuring the smooth running and development of the Learning and Leisure Service’s Day Opportunities provision. You will be responsible for: • Creation, implementation and ongoing development of services relating to all activities within the Learning & Leisure’s Day Opportunities provisions. • All aspects of line management of Learning and Leisure Day Opportunities staff as required • Working with the Head of Service to contribute to the general development of strategy and services · Lead on all Positive Behaviour Support related activities across the Learning and Leisure Service, offering guidance and support to colleagues as necessary. Skills and Experience Candidates must have a strong background working with people with learning disabilities, have excellent knowledge of the principles of Positive Behavioural Support and have experience at management level overseeing large staff teams in a relevant setting. Salary and Benefits The salary is £30,000 for a 35 hour week.
