Part-time Building Maintenance Engineer (25 hours per week Monday- Friday)

Job Description
We are looking for a multi-skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Team in Feltham. This position requires working closely with Facilities Manager to carry out a series of works from emergency break downs and planned equipment installations to a full range of DIY services. You will ensure the site is maintained to a very high standard at all times. Reporting to Facilities Manager you will be liaising with building maintenance company, 3rd party contractors and on-site testing team. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of property to check for maintenance problems and to report emergencies in the case of faults with gas, electric and water supply to the FM Installing appliances i.e. dishwashers, washing machines, cooker Decorating works - Painting walls as and when required First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: tightening screws, maintenance on door handles, Plumbing- un-blocking sinks, traps and waste pipes Minor electrical works i.e. replacing light bulbs and fuses, adding additional socket, fitting lights Assembling furniture and other equipment Rearranging office furniture - job involves manual handling activities To ensure that all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to during installation and/or maintenance Maintain quality, security, environmental and health and safety standards Always use personal protective equipment in an appropriate manner To monitor stock levels of consumable items such as light, bulbs/tubes and arrange to replenish supplies liaising with FM Performs other related tasks as assigned by FM About You Excellent communication and administration skills Ability to work to deadlines Use own initiative Ability to work quickly, accurately and pay attention to detail The ability to prioritize workload as well as having the right attitude to react positively when working under pressure Computer literacy ideally proficient using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) To hold a clean driving license Reach or counterbalance forklift licence Please note that the recruitment for this role is currently on hold however we are still super keen to hear from you if you are looking for the next step in your career, as we are actively pipelining talent in this area of the business.
