As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for, * Maintaining standards of hygiene, quality and product safety within the designated area in order to meet the customer service standards and maintain product integrity * To follow agreed controls for safe working practices in relation to personnel, product, processes and/or raw materials, identifying risks and taking the appropriate actions to ensure a safe working environment. * They would be handling chemicals (training provided) and would need to wear PPE such as aprons and visors About you Whilst it is preferable you have experience of working in a hygiene department within a food production environment, we will consider those who have not as full training will be provided. Our Hygiene teams operate in chilled and wet environments and you will have to work well on your own and as part of a team and be comfortable handling chemicals. You'll still have a solid understanding of food safety best practice to ensure we continue to adhere to the high quality and safety standards we set across the Bakkavor group.
