Overview

Our Client based in West Thurrock is looking for a Continuous Improvement lead to join their team. Purpose of the role To drive the delivery of the business transformation programme by supporting and enabling teams to implement the recommendations of the programme and thereby reduce overall operational costs Main responsibilities • Champions and communicates the rationale and objectives of the transformation programme within own Area(s) and throughout the business • Identifies areas for improvement and submits written recommendations with qualitative and quantifiable measures • Tests and implements both locally and nationally generated improvements within a designated Area, calling on other resources as required with joint accountability for measurement and results • Implements improvements designed/tested etc in other Areas with joint accountability for measurement and results • Facilitates and/or supports performance team meetings • Coaches the affected employees in the required changes and the measurement of improvements. Provides improvement updates to Areas of responsibility • Shares best practice processes with other members of the team • To change the culture of the workforce by training and leading as change champions the transformation of the business to a more value added organisation. Willing to travel frequently around the UK including overnight stopovers. Hours will vary due to nature of the role but will be between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday Pay rate is £28,000 - £30,000 DOE Additional Benefits & Requirements 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Canteen Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) Own transport required Training Provided The Best Connection Employment Group Limited was formed in 1991.
