Working alongside our Manufacturing Manager, you will be accountable for the deployment of Continuous Improvement across our specialist operation. Recipe for success: The role focuses on creating and driving Continuous Improvement across the manufacturing space within the business. This is to enable us to deliver unbeatable quality in our mission to become Britain's Best Food Business. You will lead your function with strong ideas, clear focus and credibility whilst engaging and influencing key stakeholders and teams across the site. You will also have an integral role in developing and delivering site standards to our bakery which are essential to strong product quality. Family and values is what makes us different, and we are a proud bunch, join us and you too could be proud to be Warburtons Key responsibilities include: * Execution of a wide range of projects; including Capital Improvement, Business Process Improvements and new Ways of Working. * Support the Management team in driving a culture of Continuous Improvement. * Deploy new ways of working.For example 5s, OEE, TPM and support these new processes when deployed. * Coaching of Bakery Management; Team Leaders and Key Operatives around how to work differently. * Supporting the Manufacturing support team.This may include covering other Managers while on holiday and creating new ways of working. * Supporting change within the bakery as we work to become the 'Best Bakery'. * Training of others and communicating change. Essential Ingredients * A proven track record of executing a wide range of projects. * Lean and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt required, Black Belt advantageous). * Experience of Process Improvement in a Manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of systems / processes that ensure decisions are data driven. Exposure to Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving Techniques, 5S, Waste Elimination, OEE, Poke Yoke, Standardisation, Kaizen, PDCA, etc. * Technical background / qualification would also be advantageous. * Ability to use SAP. * People Management.
