Deputy Home Manager (RGN) London £49,686 per year This role is a full-time position working 39 hours per week working alternate weekends My client is one of the UK’s leading care service providing exceptional care for their clients in Care and Nursing homes as well as Independent Living Services. They are now looking for a Deputy Home Manager to join them in their North West London Nursing home Key Responsibilities Directly managing and supervising the care team ensuring the best possible care is given to all residents Support the Home Manager in the day to day running of the home, following all statutory requirements, practices and legislations Ensure that high standards of care are maintained through communicating effectively, managing staff appropriately and planning care accurately Act as a mentor to care staff, supporting and training them to formulate effective care plans aligned to resident’s requirements Carry out risk assessments ensuring action is taken to reduce any risks, implementing all health and safety policies and procedures Requirements Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin Experienced in working in a senior position in a Nursing Home Experienced in supervising staff NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Level 5 in Leadership and Management Must have effective communication skills and able to manage and lead a team successfully
