Job Description

The Trust's IT department is looking to recruit an experienced and expert Deputy Director of IT to drive the delivery of excellent day to day IT operational services to the Trust and its partners. The postholder will be responsible for the clinical applications support team and IT infrastructure teams, as well as the development and management of a range of clinical and IT systems at the Trust. Applicants must be able to develop and maintain excellent executive level relationships both within the Trust and with its stakeholders and partners. We are looking for applicants who understand the mandatory and regulatory requirements placed on NHS organisations, and have significant experience of developing performance frameworks that demonstrate service management performance in line with industry best practice. The Deputy Director will form a critical part of the IT senior management team, working closely with the Deputy Director of Digital Transformation to embed new systems and services into day to day IT operations.
