Financial Analyst Job - South West London - Retail Business - £35,000 depending on experience Your new company Working for a well-established retail business in South West London this company are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team. This company is considered as a leading brand in its industry and are considered as an employer of choice. The business has gone from strength to strength and have a loyal customer base. Your new role Your new role will involve core sales and weekly reporting, working alongside other finance team members to ensure the accuracy and delivery. You will also be responsible for month end and be responsible for key account lines within the Profit and Loss ensuring understanding of balances and accuracy of reporting and underlying ledgers including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets and depreciation postings. You will take ownership of Capex reporting, ensuring aligned monthly reporting and full year forecast. In addition, you will be tasked with carrying out commercial analysis and providing support across the channels: sales, costs and profitability as required. Your role will involve business partnering and building relationships across the business to enable a mutual understanding of financial impacts and projections, in particular with the IT Director and Sales Director. Additional you will be tasked with providing support for the annual budget and forecast process, delivering owned account lines and analysis What you'll need to succeed It is essential candidates have advanced Excel skills and a track record of working in finance delivering key reporting and analysis within a commercial finance team. Candidates will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and have strong communication skills with the ability to work well both within finance and across the business at all levels. Prior experience of working in the retail sector would be advantageous and part qualified ACCA/ CIMA qualifications would be desirable. Candidates will be proactive and have the ability to work methodically under pressure to prioritise and manage your time to meet deadlines.
