Financial Crime Analyst - 6 months FTC
Overview
Are you a recent graduate looking for further experience in financial services? We are currently recruiting for a 6 month fixed term contract for a Financial Crime Analyst working within the Compliance department. As part of the Financial Crime team, you will be providing support to the team in managing the output from PEP, sanction and negative media screening. This role will focus on completing the successful transition between client screening tools. Your main task will be to manage the daily output from PEP, sanction and negative media screening. You will be managing the transition of existing client alerts within the system and reporting weekly figures to the Compliance Leadership team. To be considered for this role you will be a recent graduate with knowledge of financial services; and have a good understanding of key regulatory requirements around anti-money laundering and financial crime. You should have a good understanding of what constitutes as a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and the risks associated. Ideally you will have 6 -12 months’ experience of working in a financial services investment or asset management firm. You must have advanced MS Excel skills. Alternatively we would consider LPC Graduates/paralegals who have ideally taken a Finance/Financial Services elective or similar. Any other office experience or relevant extra-curricular activities would be an advantage.
