Support Workers required for Day shifts, working with 5 young Adults with Learning Disabilities, in a 5 bedroom Care Home in Bursledon, SO31. Ideally you will be a car driver with a passion to work in a rewarding role, you will be caring, compassionate, and hardworking. Supporting the young adults to lead a fullfilling and happy life, and work towards living independently. Suppoirting them on days out, activities, and personal care, grooming. About the Job: Permanent positions offered, Days, Full-time 35 hours per week Day shifts cover the following times - 7.30am to 3.30pm and 3.00pm to 10.00pm About the Home: A 5-bed home located in Bursledon, Southampton where they support five young people in their twenties, who have moved to the home after leaving education. The Home offers a homely environment where individual skills and interests are actively encouraged. You provide individualised care and support to all people living in the home to assist them towards their independence. The residents living at the home enjoy very active days and access to a variety of local facilities with high support including swimming, cycling, sensory room, horse riding, art, trampolining and cinema, and there is also a focus on on-going development of daily living skills. The young people you will support require high levels of support every time they access the community.
