Overview
Main Purpose of Role To identify and interpret business requirements into technical specifications for Cornerstone Projects. This will involve reviewing, analysing, evaluating & documenting Business systems and the needs of the users who use them. Key Responsibilities Business Analyst support for Internal Cornerstone Projects Work with Business Owners, Project Managers & Subject Matter Experts to analyse, define the scope and requirements for Cornerstone Projects. To run workshops to understand, refine and prioritise Business requirements. To provide clear, structured documentation of the project requirements and to produce documentation and guides for future reference To support and act as an active contributor to Projects as they Progress from Idea scoping, Design & Development and into Delivery. To create and maintain project requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and in some cases accompanying wireframes. Plan, Communicate and Coordinate activities among Stakeholders and/or other departments To assist Projects with the analysis phase of Projects providing direction to designers and developers both internal and 3rd party leading to agreed detail scope and requirements. To conduct one-to-one interviews and workshops with members of the Project team and their stakeholders. Develop test scripts and conduct System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) To assist in Testing during delivery and close to go live and to create system documentation and user manuals as needed.This could include the executing Test Scripts and assisting with User Acceptance Testing. Perform successful and smooth deployment of the new Projects Prepare the technical documents and conduct handover session(s) that are required by the Project team and contribute to any operational support documentation as appropriate. Compliance and Security To support and contribute actively to health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers. Experience (technical, managerial, industry) Required · Strong Business Analyst with at least 4 years’ experience in both Agile and Waterfall projects · Experienced in scoping requirements for Projects / Programmes to integrate into existing Systems & infrastructures. · Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate and work as a team player · Ability to understand complex systems and issues and communicate these to both technical and non-technical people. · Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge Desired · Experience defining and managing project requirements in a Telecommunications, IT or Engineering Business. · Project Management experience. Education Level / Qualifications Required · Hons Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering.
