Overview
About the company My client, a global cosmetics company is looking for a new Finance Manager to join them in their City of London office. This is a brand-new role, where you will build a team under you and have opportunities to travel internationally. They are opening offices across Europe but the London office will be the hub of its European operations in 2020. You will report to the UK Operations Director and will take ownership of the management accounts process using SAP and provide reports to senior executives including the Global CFO. What you will be doing? Reporting into the UK Operations Director you will be working on: - Journal entries to record monthly transactions - Calculation of Accruals and Prepayments - Bank, Balance Sheet and Supplier Statement Reconciliation - Support managers with new finance procedures and controls - Multi-currency treasury processes - Provide analysis and commentary for the management accounts - Submitting VAT returns to HMRC Essential skills/experience - 5 years’ experience in accountancy role - Experience with month-end process - SAP accounting system experience - Extensive exposure to management accounts processes - High value bank reconciliation - Preparing and processing high value payment runs - Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and v-Lookups) Desirable skills/experience - Experience with the franchise model - Cosmetics industry background - Working with senior finance executives Benefits and perks - Social events - Excellent location with local restaurants and cafes Finance Manager - Global Cosmetics Brand Location: North London £50,000 - £55,000 salary plus international travel opportunities
