Overview
Are you a part qualified Accountant looking for more? More exposure, more long term progression and more challenge. If so, Investigo finance is currently partnering with a high growth property management firm in East London on their search for an ambitious and motivated Accountant for a brand new role. This opportunity will open up the opportunity to take ownership over the following areas and continue developing skills across: Assist in the month end process in line with the reporting timetable: Take ownership over the accuracy and completeness of accruals and prepayments through liaising with relevant individuals in the business and driving a stringent process with regards to purchase orders that is adhered to Post journals in Yardi system Prepare summaries for various cost centres to allow for analysis of performance in line with budget/forecast Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Strong link to the FP&A team, which is responsible for explaining management information to the cost centre owners Be proactive in identifying system efficiencies and improvements and be confident in vocalising these and helping drive solutions with the wider finance team Be a key contact for external auditors, responding to queries and providing supporting schedules where necessary Prepare analysis required by tax advisors Ad hoc requests to support the Financial Control and Compliance team The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following attributes: Currently studying / looking to study ACCA or CIMA Educated to degree level Experienced with journal postings, month end procedures, balance sheet recs and reporting Intermediate excel skills Positive attitude with a drive to progress Be a team player, proactive and committed to finding solutions For more information on the package, the role and the company, please contact Cheryl Aust at Investigo London.
