Overview
Your new company A leading regulatory body responsible for regulating health and social care within England. They are looking for a commercial Paralegal to join their Central Legal Services team for a 6 month contract. Your new role You will be responsible for undertaking case management duties duties and assisting with commercial matters. You will working within a small but busy Commercial and Procurement Legal team and you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and progression of commercial cases by working independently and with supervision from lawyers in the team. You will provide support to key stakeholders and their legal representatives and external partners such other government departments. Finally, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate case files and assisting the lawyers to progress contractual matters. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the role, you should hold a Law Degree /Graduate Diploma in Law or CILEX equivalent and ideally have relevant Paralegal experience in providing commercial legal support in a private or public sector legal setting. You will have proven experience of case management, case progression and working with lawyers and key stakeholders. You must be able to work flexibly, be able to interpret complex legal information and understand and interpret relevant legislation, guidance, policies and procedures. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a focus on delivery ensuring that case deadlines are met are essential to this role.
