Commercial Litigation Solicitor, 1 – 4 years PQE, London, Salary £45,000 to £65,000 (DOE) plus extensive benefits. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a technically bright and ambitious Litigation Solicitor looking for a new challenge. THE TEAM: The areas covered by the firms Dispute Resolution practice include: • Banking & Financial • Commercial Disputes • Construction Disputes • Corporate Disputes • Debt recovery claim up to the value of £100,000 • Fraud, Financial Crime & Asset Recovery • Insolvency • Intellectual Property • International Dispute Resolution • Loan & Security Enforcement • Professional Negligence • Real Estate Disputes COMMERCIAL LITIGATION SOLICITOR: The firm are seeking a commercially astute and ambitious litigator to handle a very busy and varied caseload. This will include but not restricted to all areas of litigation including: commercial litigation, property litigation, shareholder disputes, director disqualifications, professional negligence, civil litigation, neighbour disputes, personal disputes and contentious probate. The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor of a minimum 1 year PQE and have the following skills and attributes: strong commercial litigation experience with an understanding of property litigation, good technical understanding and successful track record. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients and a good level of motivation to build and develop a team. An understanding of financial matters relating to own work – e.g. billable hours, WIP, Write Off" time and suggest ideas for increasing fees. You will seek out/ makes use of opportunities to develop knowledge of this practice area and uses multiple sources of information to make effective judgements.
