A top UK firm with a market leading Commercial practice is looking to hire a bright, entrepreneurial and ambitious mid-level Commercial Associate for a full-time, permanent role. Joining its internationally recognised London Commercial group, the Commercial Associate will focus predominantly on consumer law and advertising regulations. The Firm The Commercial Associate will join a top international UK firm that has a strong sector focus with offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and North America. The Role and Team In this Commercial Associate role, you will be responsible for: Working closely with the Head of the Group Providing commercial contracts and regulatory advice Getting involved with business development, conferences, thought leadership etc Handling a split of work that will be roughly 70% Consumer Law and 30% Advertising Law The successful Associate will advise clients in any of the firm’s sector groups, with a focus on providing contractual and regulatory advice to sports clients, media and entertainment clients, luxury brands and fashion clients, food and beverage clients and technology and digital business clients (including online marketplaces and digital start-ups). This Commercial (Consumer and Advertising) role has arisen due to an increased volume of work for the firm’s consumer and advertising practice and there is significant opportunity for the successful candidate to play an active role internally and through business development to help grow and shape the firm’s offering in this area.
