Financial Controller (12 Month FTC Temp-Perm) | Hyper Growth App Developer | London The Client Harmonic are proud to be working on a retained basis with one of Europe's fastest growing hyper-casual game developers. They have seen exceptional levels of organic growth over the past 5 years and are looking to continue this growth into 2020 with the help of a new Financial Controller. Through developing hyper-casual games and publishing third party apps they have achieved impressive turnover figures for 2018 hitting the coveted $100m mark for 2019 and expecting further growth in 2020. With around 250 employees this exciting and dynamic business is at the forefront of hyper-casual game development and hosts its London office in a highly desirable Soho location. The leadership is made up of serially successful entrepreneurs with Finance led by their impressive CFO who is building a finance function to match. The Role This is an opportunity to join an extremely high growth business as the Financial Controller, overseeing the entire Finance function across 4 international offices in 4 different locations. The Controller will be integral in ensuring the day to day running of the company finances is in order and will play a lead role in taking the business through an upcoming audit. You will be assisting the CFO in restructuring tax, performing a transfer pricing review, building out processes and controls, and you will take a lead role in systems implementation. Later in the year there may be the chance to get involved in a fundraise to further supplement growth. Responsibilities Manage the Finance team Stay on top of weekly/monthly processes Manage the balance sheet & P&L Monthly reporting Tax restructuring Consolidated group accounts post tax restructuring System implementation Lead role in taking the business through audit Working with the FD to improve processes and controls Proper reporting schedules etc. What we need to see (Essential) Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 2-3 years post qualified SME experience A real enthusiasm for working in a start-up and won't shy away from a challenge Confident in audit and strong communication skills Strong Excel skills What we would like to see (Non-Essential) Foreign currency/group consolidations Experience with any mid-tier accounting software (SAP/Sage/Netsuite) Russian Language skills ( this would be very beneficial ) Experience implementing accounting systems Location: Soho, London Salary: £65k benefits Start date: ASAP Please get in touch with Jack on for further information.
