Chief Technology Officer Permanent London £100,000 to £120,000 As the times have shown digital innovation in analogue and traditional industries is becoming and increasingly important focus. We are working with a client who is leading the digital disruption of one such industry and is seen as a leader in providing cutting edge technology solutions to their clients. They are looking to bring on a forward thinking chief technology officer to lead the ongoing projects that they are involved with. You will be overseeing both front-end and back-end engineers using a modern tech stack including: Java React Spring Python CI/CD pipelines What you'll be doing: The cheif technology officer we are looking for has to be diverse and highly skilled, as well as showing an understanding of the technologies being used on the projects you will be charged with: Building and mentoring a high performance team of engineers Creating an environment of collaboration and innovation Being pragmatic about strategy and goals, understanding the needs of customers and the capability of the technology and the development process What experience we need: Beyond the familiarity with a range of both front and back-end technologies we need our new chief technology officer to be strong with data science and engineering technologies too. Other competencies we consider to be core are: Familiarity with cloud-based software development (particularly AWS) The ability to clearly define a technical vision which sits in line with strategic objectives Strong communication skills and relationship management with stakeholders of all levels from engineers to the CEO you will be directly reporting to What you'll get: Our client is an innovative and disruptive start-up and they have a great culture to match it, they thrive on inclusivity and collaboration.
