Target Openings 1 Job Description Summary You will provide architectural, technological leadership, oversight and recommendations as well as creating transition strategies that support the development and implementation of initiatives based on Common Delivery, Services Based Architecture, and Agility, for highly complex and/or multiple portfolios or domains across Europe. In addition, you will be responsible for being the strategic and technical leader behind lines of business and/or Europe project and programmes. You will likely manage senior-level Architects. You will plan and execute at a strategic level. Manage and influence resources and outcomes. Lead the design, development and/or implementation of major, highly complex project(s) that support multiple lines of businesses and/or technology area across Europe. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities * Defines the strategy and process for solutions and road maps, while providing leadership and oversight over architectural recommendations. * Provides strategic oversight of the governance process (i.e. blueprint and design reviews.) * Designs and implements the strategy for stability and performance of solutions (including - project level design, debug and performance analysis) at the line of business and/or Europe level. * Provides oversight over the strategy used to escalate priorities for remediation of application stability and performance. * Provides strategic leadership in identifying new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance (best practices, guidelines and models for supported technologies.) * Champions collaboration across Europe and enterprise on common portfolios or domains * Sponsors enterprise engagements like Centres of Excellence. * Sponsors development and production support of application utilities. * Develops vendors and product management strategies to establish required infrastructures and frameworks. * Provides leadership over product evaluations and Proof of Concepts. * Provides architectural strategy and subject matter expertise. Minimum Qualifications * Experience in providing strategic direction to architecture technology, and leading a team of architects through large scale enterprise-wide initiatives. * Proven track record in design experience in enterprise, application, and information architecture, with expertise in strategic design. * Proven experience in people, product and/or project management and Software development Life Cycle (SDLC). Completed multiple engagements of a variety of complexity. * Experience with influencing people in a matrixed organisation. * Must have experience in multiple technologies and architectures.
