Building Surveyor - Private Sector with Public sector experience Your new company My client, a major multidisciplinary consultancy, are looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor on a temporary basis. They have highly integrated teams who are passionate about delivering projects to their clients. Their technical expertise spans across the housing, education, commercial, healthcare, government and conservation sectors. They are known for their expertise on public sector housing projects both new build, refurbishment and regeneration. Your new role You will be responsible for providing building surveyor related advice and technical input including design and tender drawings to support refurbishment schemes; undertake technical building inspections producing feasibility and concept design reports; inspect specific building defects. What you'll need to succeed Experience in a similar role carrying out defect diagnosis, surveys, inspections, design and detailed specification of repair and improvement works, cost estimates, contract admin, quality audits and the monitoring or expenditure against budgets Have a high level of experience with stakeholders Experience within public sector housing, specification writing and contract administration Experience of working on multimillion pound projects is essential What you'll get in return Working for a dynamic, integrated consultancy at a competitive day rate.
