Job Ref: RES-20-004 Job type: Full-time, 35 hours Closing date: Sunday 14 June 2020, 11:59pm Contract Type: Permanent Salary: 54,174- 58,380 (SGM1) + 10% market supplement The role Lewisham is a vibrant and diverse borough, home to over 300,000 people. This role sits in a directorate which provides planning, regeneration, housing and public realm services. We have established a collective capacity which will help the Council influence and shape all future development in the borough. This is a key role for the Council and has become available at an interesting and exciting time, with increasing development and expansion in the Borough's built environment. This role will provide an opportunity for a person of the right calibre to be involved in leading and developing a Building Control function to meet increasing service demand. You will be leading a team of technical staff as the Council works toward its ambitious build target of 1,000 affordable homes, be involved in service re-design and be given the tools and support you need in delivering excellence.
