Our client, a leading UK 'Blue-Chip', is looking to recruit a hungry and ambitious Procurement Specialist demonstrating a broad commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and value creation. Client Details FTSE 100 business and a household brand Description The jobholder will support a team of Procurement Managers, and will assist with the procurement of Indirect Services including Professional services, HR, Consultancy, Legal, FM, Security, waste, and recycling. With a large pipeline of imminent projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of Procurement skills including spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, contract negotiation, as well as post-contract supplier performance and contractual adherence. The jobholder will be expected to support the full lifecycle sourcing process providing value analytical expertise across the RFX process. In turn, it is expected that the jobholder supports the supplier relationship management of business-critical vendors. Profile This is an excellent opportunity to enter the procurement function of a prestigious 'Blue-Chip' organisation. Will already have experience of delivering procurement projects for at least one of the following categories - IT/IS/Marketing/Prof Services/FM Ideally, you will have a desire to undertake the CIPS qualification or finish if already studying. Demonstrates some experience of operating in a Buyer or Senior Buyer capacity for indirects Experience of using e-sourcing tools Analytical and logical nature, highly numerate with demonstrable experience of using Excel Confident communicator with an engaging personality Ideally Degree qualified Job Offer Uncapped progression potential and a generous remuneration package.
