Job Description The Senior Director of Global Strategic Procurement Materials will lead the global office for direct materials. The global office for direct materials will have the mission of defining the technology of use in our suppliers' future production facilities, the location, and the business model. This function will define our future Value Chain of direct materials. It will identify & develop our supplier panel of the future, looking for those suppliers who can become partners in innovation and value creation for our direct materials. Location: Alpharetta, GA, Orlando, FL, Manchester, UK or Madrid, Spain Scope * All spend categories (Direct - Assets, Timber, Plastic, Steel, Equipment, New materials). * All Brambles countries. Major/Key Accountabilities * Value creation * Analysis, evaluation, and selection of suppliers, technologies, locations, for the production and supply of our direct materials. * Evaluate alternative future /emerging production technologies, technical capacities in suppliers * Evaluate Brambles production needs and potential future locations for our suppliers' production activities * Select Supplier Panel: Owner of the Relationship with Suppliers * The Senior Director owns the relationship with our suppliers. In particular, the Category Maps & Development Plan for each supplier * Supply Contracts, Terms & Conditions (T&C) Measures * Procurement KPI's such as cost, delivered savings, delivered cost reduction initiatives, cash improvement, reduction of the number of suppliers, execution of supplier's development plan Authority/ Decision Making * Expense and supplier contract up to 200k USD Purchasing decisions; * Approval of non-standard payment terms * Non-Hire stock CAPEX approval up till 100k USD * Disposals of asset up till 250k USD * Co-approve leases * CAPEX PO's up till approved CAPEX by business Key contacts * VP Global Procurement, Operations * Regional Heads * Regional Proc.
