Overview
A boutique Broker in the City is looking for an Account Handler to join their close-knit team. The role will be supporting a team of Brokers with their renewals, MTAs and new business as well as general client service. Due to them being a Lloyd's Broker, producing complex MRC slips and endorsements for clients will also form part off the role as well as meeting Underwriters to negotiate placements. The bulk of the business is Financial Institutions and Commercial Professional Indemnity, with risks ranging from SME to corporate. The clients are mainly UK retail clients but there is also some offshore business. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of both PI and FI clients gained within a broking environment. However candidates with just PI or FI knowledge will be considered, along with those from an underwriting background. Due to it being a small team, everyone is expected to be adaptable and help colleagues with additional duties.
