Overview
Harrison Holgate are working with an International Insurer who are looking to recruit a Financial Lines Underwriter to join their successful team based in the City of London. Typical duties will include: -Analysing risks from submissions received through a well-established network of brokers. -Underwriting of renewal business and new risks. -Building, servicing and maintaining key strategic broker relationships. -Liaising with internal teams such as broker relations and claims. The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in the insurance market in either broking or underwriting. This is a collaborative environment and would suit those who enjoy working as part of a team and has a good eye for detail as this role is key to the continued development of a profitable book of business. You will have a thorough understanding of policy wordings, be an excellent communicator and have an analytical mind-set. Those with a FI background and Cert CII qualification will be preferred.
