Overview

Financial Controller Challenger Bank Start-up £65/70K bonus Talentedge are proud to be partnering with a VC backed Challenger Bank, in their early stages of development to onboard a Financial Controller into the team. My client offers a collaborative and open environment with an experienced, dynamic and social team. This is a great opportunity to have fast-track progression into the Head of Finance role with the ability to build out a team. Key responsibilities: Ownership of the month-end process, producing full management accounts Leading the full audit process including prep of statutory accounts Completion of monthly & annual reports in line with IFRS and local GAAP Management of cash flow through regular tracking of transactions and internal reports Improving & developing of financial controls and reporting processes Own the Due Diligence process for future funding round Support on commercials budgeting, forecasting & planning Managing transactional duties including; payroll, VAT, expenses, AP/AR and payments Management of 1 junior accountant Profile: Qualified accountant with strong post qualified experience across start-ups Experience working in a Tech start-up is preferred but not essential Proven experience with implementing robust processes and controls Confident individual with a get-it-done attitude Please get in touch if you're interested in hearing more
