Overview
My client, an exciting media company based in Shoreditch are recruiting a financial controller to support the growth of the business. The company has a flat structure and this key appointment will have great exposure within the group and take on the existing duties in supporting the Company’s financial and business strategies. Key Duties Formulate and evaluate strategic plans, budgets and forecasts for the entire business within set timelines Prepare group management accounts and board packs Continually adapt and improve management reporting and KPIs to meet the needs of the business and management team Consolidating and reviewing the monthly management accounts Production of UK Statutory Accounts and ensuring all local accounts are adhered to Form strong relationships with the Executive team and Board members along with product, services and sales & marketing divisions to provide reliable, stable revenue and cost forecasts from planning and pipeline data VAT Returns for the UK and Overseas Monthly and quarterly cash-flow forecasts Experience Fully Qualified(ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Effective time management skills and ability to work consistently to set deadlines Hands-on experience of leading the finance function in a SME Due to the large numbers of responses we receive, despite our best efforts it is not possible to respond to every application.
